On Friday, CNN reported about a man in Florida who owes child support for a child who has been proven by a DNA test to not be his biological child. In this case, the man claims he never received notices from the State about the paternity case, missed the deadline to contest paternity and was adjudged to be the father without a DNA test. Further complicating the matter is that the mother didn't bring a paternity case for ten years. He has begged the court for leniency. Now for the obvious question: where is the girl's real father, and why isn't he paying the child support?
